Swimming Competition at the National Defence Academy
The National Defence Academy continues to host the events to honour the memory of fallen Junkers, who died protecting the independence of Georgia in 1921.
As a part of the occupation week, today, the swimming competition was held among NDA Junkers. Corporal Revaz Gorgadze also participated in the competition.
Junker Aleko Davitaia obtained the first place in the 100 metres freestyle swimming, Junker Mose Khabeishvili – in 100 metres combined swimming and Junker Davit Latsabidze – in 100 metres breaststroke swimming.
The Rector of NDA, LTC Zaza Japaridze, Commandant, LTC Zezva Liparteliani and the Commander of Junkers’ Battalion, Colonel Roman Janjulia handed over the certificates and gifts to the winners.
