Junkers way of life

From enrollment in the Bachelor's Degree programs of LEPL - David Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia to graduation from the Academy, the Junker goes through certain stages, which is called "Junker's way of life".

II – VIII terms Military Science

Proposed terms

 

Successful Junkers have the opportunity to be selected and study at military academies in NATO partner countries:

  • Exchange program for one term
  • Full program - in military schools in the USA, Canada, France, Germany and Turkey.
  • Upon completion of the first semester of the undergraduate program, if desired, the Junker has the opportunity to change the chosen program and continue his/her studies in another undergraduate program.

Common Events

  1. a) During the academic year, based on the order N53 of the Minister of Defence of Georgia of January 20, 2021, on the physical fitness test of the military servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia and the rules of passing the test, the frequency of physical norms for cadets is determined by the Rector of the Academy at least twice a year (according to the academic term).
  2. b) The Junkers take part in administrative marches under appropriate plans.
  3. c) In order to perform troop service, Junkers will practically perform the functions of a unit duty officer, assistant of duty officer, and guard.
  4. d) After completing the basic combat training, the Junkers are given at least one day per week to rest, under the curriculum.

 Basic Military Education

  • A necessary component for the development of officer competencies is "Military Science", which is taught within all undergraduate education programs.
  • Upon completion of the undergraduate program, the graduate is awarded an academic qualification and the rank of officer - lieutenant.

Choosing the military specialties after completing a 4-year undergraduate program

Combined arms center:

  1. Infantry;
  2. Intelligence;
  3. Aviation;
  4. Mechanized;
  5. Logistics;
  6. Medical;
  7. Armored;
  8. Engineering;
  9. Military Police;
  10. Artillery;
  11. Signal;
  12. Air Defence.

All graduates will be employed in high-paid military service.
