Main functions

In accordance with its responsibilities, the service coordinates with the relevant departments of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia. This includes preparing and distributing press releases, informational materials, and visual content for media representatives through various mass media channels.

The service manages relationships with government structures, educational and scientific institutions, as well as various public organizations, and facilitates joint projects. Its functions include:

a) Ensuring effective internal communications within the Academy. 

b) Managing relationships with government structures, educational and scientific institutions, and public organizations to implement joint projects. 

c) Promoting the Academy's activities and programs, along with its faculty members. 

d) Planning and conducting meetings between various public representatives and the Rector and faculty. 

e) Organizing press conferences, special briefings, interviews, seminars, and trainings as needed. 

f) Evaluating implemented projects and improving future planning based on the outcomes. 

g) Reviewing project proposals and developing recommendations regarding their approval or rejection. 

h) Managing the Academy’s website, including regular posting and updating of information within its scope. 

i) Publishing official statements and appeals on behalf of the Academy. 

j) Coordinating the use of the Academy’s logo by different departments, and overseeing the production of promotional printed materials and other branding items. 

k) Carrying out other activities aligned with its responsibilities that adhere to Georgian legislation, the Academy’s Statute, and relevant regulations.

 

Additionally, the service is responsible for popularizing the Academy’s programs, activities, and academic staff, as well as managing the Academy's social media accounts by posting and updating information as necessary.
