Main functions

Functions of the Training Support and Development Center:

 

The Training Support and Development Center is responsible for the following key functions:

 

a)      Improving the quality of teaching and learning to align with the requirements of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia's Defence Forces.

b)     Planning and conducting specialized courses.

c)      Supporting the development of the educational and scientific processes within the Academy.

d)     Enhancing the professional development of personnel.

e)      Ensuring a high standard of military education.

f)       Planning and organizing the educational and material resources within its remit, in coordination with the relevant structural units of the Academy.

g)      Participating in the development of training programs and syllabi within its competence.

 

To fulfill its functions, the Training Support and Development Center:

 

a)      Participates in the Academic Council through a designated representative.

b)     Contributes to the development of training programs within its areas of responsibility.

c)      Implements necessary measures to enhance and maintain the combat training level of the Center's personnel.

d)     Manages the registration of weapons, combat equipment, and other property belonging to the Training Support and Development Center.

e)      Ensures the organization of physical training for the Center's personnel within its scope of competence.

f)       Performs other functions as specified by legislation, these Regulations, and individual administrative-legal acts issued by the Rector.
