Main functions

Junior Officer Training School

The main functions of the School are as follows:

a)      To enhance the quality of teaching and learning in alignment with the requirements set by the Ministry of Defense of Georgia and the Defense Forces.

b)     To elevate the professional, intellectual, personal, and moral development of students.

c)      To promote the advancement of the educational and scientific processes within the Academy.

d)     To improve the professional standards of faculty and support staff.

e)      To ensure a high standard of military education.

f)       To plan and organize the educational and material resources within its authority, in coordination with the relevant structural units of the Academy.

g)      To prepare and submit educational programs and curricula for approval by the Academic Council.

To effectively carry out its responsibilities, the School:

a)      Participates in the Academic Council by appointing a representative; 

b)     Develops educational programs within its authority and submits them to the Academic Council for approval; 

c)      Implements measures to enhance and maintain the combat training level of the school personnel; 

d)     Keeps a record of the school's weapons, combat equipment, and other property; 

e)      Ensures the organization of physical training for students, within its authority; 

f)       Takes appropriate measures to improve students' academic performance and disciplinary conduct, within its authority; 

g)      Carries out other functions as specified by legislation, these Regulations, and individual administrative-legal acts of the Rector.
