The Command and Staff Course of Command and Staff College intermediate level of military education and training for all structural units of the Defense Forces, providing training to officers (Major, Lt. Col.) at the tactical-operational level, to be able to lead a battalion (brigade) and higher headquarters.

Officers enrolled in the Command and Staff School during their studies will be able to accumulate a certain amount of credits for the master's program.

The aim of the course is to prepare senior officers for the Defense Forces of Georgia, who will be ready to plan and execute operations in any environment and conditions with their theoretical and practical knowledge in accordance with the challenges facing the country and the Armed Forces.

The program, taking into account the operational needs of the country and the Defense Forces, provides development of professionalism and analytical thinking skills for the officers and civilians working in the civilian office of the Ministry of Defense in both martial arts and science, as well as defense and security issues. Provides intermediate military vocational education for the military servicemen, which is also a necessary precondition for further professional development at the High School of Defense program.

The program provides modern military education and development of the command and staff skills at tactical and operational level for the military servicemen with the rank of lieutenant colonel and major of the Defense Forces of Georgia, officers with special ranks, and civilians from the structural units of the Ministry of Defense with relevant experience, who with their theoretical and practical knowledge will be ready to plan and execute operations and military campaigns in any environment and conditions based on the challenges facing the country and the defense forces.
