An event dedicated to Mother's Day and International Women's Day was held at the National Defense Academy. The Rector of the Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze congratulated the women staff and female Junkers on the mentioned holidays, wished them health and success in their personal life. After the congratulations, the women present were given bouquets of flowers and congratulations cards.

The first half of the day was dedicated to competitions in various sports, where the students of the officer candidate training course took part together with the fourth-year Junkers. The sporting event included the run of 1921 meters involving 21 participants, as well as competitions in arm-wrestling, swimming, volleyball, and tug of war.

  A briefing has been held at NDA with the third and fourth year Junkers on occasion of International Plagiarism Prevention Day.

With the new initiative of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia and the National Defense Academy, all Junkers of the Academy will receive a monthly scholarship of GEL 200; also, the successful Junkers will receive an additional scholarship according to the rating.

 On December 18, 2020, the National Defence Academy will host the International Scientific Conference "Security Challenges of the Black Sea Region".
