Today, the Commander of the Latvian Armed Forces, General-Lieutenant Leonīds Kalniņš visited the National Defence Academy. 

Today, Canadian attaché in Georgia, the air force representative, Colonel Todd Brettweight, visited the National Defence Academy. An introductory visit was hosted by the Rector, Colonel Zaza Japaridze and the Head of International Relations Division Nino Getsadze.

The second year Junkers of the NDA Training Battalion are undergoing one week practical field training at the First Infantry Brigade shooting range. The training takes place between the 22-26 of October and includes tactics, topography and marksmanship.
