Visit of United States Naval Academy Delegation to the NDA

In the frames of bilateral cooperation, National Defence Academy of Georgia is hosting a delegation from United States Naval Academy from May 17 to May 27, 2021. A professor, Mr. Alan R. Friedman and four midshipman of USNA are staying at the NDA of Georgia within the working-educational visit.

NDA Rector, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze and a Head of Junkers’ Training Battalion, LTC Giorgi Arabuli held an opening meeting with the delegation and introduced the educational programs and structure of NDA to them.

Various educational and cultural events are planned as part of the visit and the guests will be involved in academic process and daily activities at NDA. The aim of the visit is to strengthen cooperation between the two academies, as well as to introduce the National Defence Academy and the country to our partners.
