Cadets International Week has been opened at NDA

The 6th Cadets’ International Week was officially opened today at National Defence Academy of Georgia. In frames of the event, the academy hosts almost 35 international and Georgian cadets from six foreign military academies and three national partner higher educational institutions during 4-8 April.

The rector of the NDA, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze gave a speech during the opening ceremony. In his speech, the Rector emphasized the importance of the International Week and wished the participants to spend interesting days at NDA. During the event the participants will be involved in various intellectual, cultural and sport activities, as well as in academic lectures.

The purpose of the Cadets’ International Week is to enforce the cooperation between the NDA and partner military educational institutions, to get future military officers and leaders close to each other and to raise worldwide awareness about the NDA and about Georgia.
