The summer basic course of mountain training has been ended
The closing ceremony of the Mountain Training Summer Basic Course" was held at the Sachkhere Mountain Training School named after Colonel Besik Kutateladze. The training program was successfully completed by the second-year Junkers of Davit Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy.
The course was taking place in Sachkhere and Chiatura training areas in parallel mode for three weeks. Within the framework of the training, the participants developed skills related to mountain-technical training and studied the rules of using mountain equipment. The Junkers learned how to move safely on mountainous terrain, how to evacuate the injured, how to land on a rock, how to climb a fixed rope, how to climb a rock, how to overcome a river and an obstacle course.
The Junker training battalion commander of the National Defence Academy, LTC Giorgi Arabuli, congratulated the graduates on the successful completion of the course. Salome Davituliani, the second-year Junker, also gave a speech at the event and thanked the leadership.
At the end of the event, the graduates were given certificates.
