Visit of Defence Ministers of Georgia and Azerbaijan to NDA
The Rector of the National Defence Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze hosted the Minister of Defence of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze and the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, General Zakir Hasanov.
At the meeting, the Rector of the Academy talked about the capabilities of the military institution with the defence ministers of the two countries. He showed the guests the educational laboratories of the National Defense Academy, medical center, library, museum, sports halls and dormitories of the Junkers.
Later, officials attended trilateral sports events in which Azerbaijani and Turkish cadets participated along with the Junkers.
From November 14 of this year, cadets of the Military Institute of Azerbaijan named after Heydar Aliyev and the schools of the Turkish Ground Forces, Air Force and Navy are visiting the Academy.
The meeting held at the National Defence Academy was attended by the Deputy Commanders of the Defence Forces, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia and other officials.
