A solemn event was held for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia and the LEPL- Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. Candidates represented by various educational institutions and scientific centers of Georgia attended the event.
During the event, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia Nodar Papukashvili and General Director of LEPL - Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia Teimuraz Dochviri congratulated the guests on the International Day of Women and Girls in Science and wished them success and development in the scientific field. Two videos were shown during the event: "Georgian Distinguished Women Scientists" and "Success Stories of Georgian Women Scientists Working Abroad."
Ketevan Kveselava, Chief Scientist of the Scientific Research Center of the Academy attended the event from the National Defence Academy. All the invited participants, including Ketevan Kveselava, the chief scientist of the Scientific Research Center of the Academy, were awarded a certificate for their contribution to the development of science.
