Professor Levan Gegeshidze participated in the SUSI 2024 program

Professor Levan Gegeshidze of the Defence and Security Program at the National Defence Academy participated in the SUSI-2024 program, a US Department of State's academic initiative for scholars.

The program aims to deepen the understanding of US society, culture, values, and institutions among academic staff from foreign universities.

Professor Gegeshidze attended the American Foreign Policy and Grand Strategy course at the University of Delaware, where he engaged in lectures and workshops led by experts in the field.

Additionally, he participated in sessions at various US cities, American analytical organizations, and prestigious universities. Throughout the program, Professor Gegeshidze visited the United Nations Organization, the Carnegie Foundation for International Peace, the USAID headquarters, the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies, as well as attended lectures at Yale, Princeton, Franklin and Marshall College, and the University of Maryland.
