An awarding ceremony was recently held at the National Defence Academy

An awarding ceremony was recently held at the LEPL David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia to honor the successful Junkers from the spring semester of the Bachelor’s program and their parents. Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, the Rector of the National Defence Academy, personally welcomed the parents of the Junkers to the event. In his address, the Rector emphasized the crucial role of family support in both academic and military life. He also highlighted the Academy's commitment to providing the necessary encouragement and guidance to the Junkers throughout their challenging academic journey.

It should be noted that all Junkers of the I, II and III years of the bachelor's program in the Academy receive a monthly fixed scholarship of 320 GEL, in addition, excellent Junkers receive an additional scholarship according to their ranking.

Additional scholarship award criteria:

A+ 95 – 100 points - 300 GEL

A 91 – 94 points - 200 GEL

B 81 – 90 points - 100 GEL

And the accrued stipend of IV-year Junkers amounts to 1530 GEL (1200 GEL in hand).

After the end of each academic semester, parents of the excellent Junkers (category A+) are awarded, and parents of the Junkers of category A and B are sent a letter of gratitude from the Rector to their home addresses.
