The voluntary military training program
From May 6 to August 19, 2025, the voluntary military training program for junior reserve officers at the LEPL David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia will start accepting applications.
The program is open to individuals who meet the following criteria and will be recruited on a voluntary and contractual basis, without being granted military serviceman status:
Georgian citizens under the age of 30 who are current students in their 3rd or 4th year at an accredited higher educational institution.
Individuals who hold a bachelor's degree.
The educational process will take place at the National Defence Academy and will last for two years.
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be recognized as having fulfilled their national military service obligations.
The Candidate Admissions Commission will oversee the selection of candidates for enrollment in the program.
This selection will consider:
Norms for assessing physical fitness, as well as the results of psychological, medical, and special examinations.
Applications for the military training program will be accepted from May 6 to August 19 at the National Defence Academy of Georgia in Gori. The training for the reserve junior officer voluntary military training program for the 2025-2027 academic year is scheduled to begin on September 1, 2025.
