The Basic Summer Mountain Training Course has concluded.
The closing ceremony for the Basic Summer Mountain Training Course was held at the Colonel Besik Kutateladze Sachkhere Mountain Training School. Candidates from the Junior Officers Training School of the David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia successfully completed the program.
The course was held for three weeks in parallel at the training sites located in Sachkhere and Chiatura. During this time, participants developed skills in mountain technical training and learned the rules for using mountain equipment. Trainees mastered various techniques, including navigating mountainous terrain, conducting collective rescue operations and evacuating the injured, as well as abseiling, fixed rope climbing, rock climbing, river crossing, and navigating obstacle courses.
Colonel Ivane Tskhadadze, Commander of the Colonel Besik Kutateladze Sachkhere Mountain Training School, congratulated the graduates on their successful completion of the course. Goga Lursmanashvili, a student from the course, also delivered a speech to express gratitude to the course leadership. At the end of the event, the graduates were presented with certificates.
