International week

From June 9 to June 14, 2025, an international week was held at the Nicolae Balcescu Military Academy in Romania, with participation from representatives of the National Defence Academy. Higher military educational institutions from eleven countries attended the event.

The week included a visit to familiarize attendees with the Romanian Military Academy. Participants presented information about their respective institutions and exchanged insights about international activities to enhance future cooperation.

A scientific conference was held as part of the International Week, accompanied by various cultural and cognitive events. The conference utilized a panel system featuring five distinct panels: Defence and Security, Military Education, Economics, Administration, Law, Leadership and Management, and Technical Sciences and Technologies. A total of 174 researchers participated, presenting 97 papers. Representatives from the National Defence Academy attended the panel meetings based on the relevant topics.

The involvement of National Defence Academy representatives in such international activities strengthens relationships between the Academy and higher military schools in foreign countries, fostering close partnerships in military education and research.
