The fourth international conference on distance learning

The fourth international conference on distance learning took place at the David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia, focusing on the theme: “Challenges and Future of Distance Learning.”

This one-day event was attended by professors and teachers from the National Defence Academy of Georgia, representatives from various structural units of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia, and a delegate from the Azerbaijan Defence University.

The conference opened with an address by Colonel Zurab Zerekidze, the Deputy Rector of the Academy. He emphasized the significance of developing distance learning within the Georgian defence education system, particularly highlighting its role in enhancing the quality of education and increasing accessibility.

The conference featured a diverse array of engaging topics, including the future of distance learning, teaching in a modern security environment, the security of distance learning, and protecting digital spaces. Additional discussions addressed the challenges of distance learning in the era of artificial intelligence and other relevant issues.

This event highlighted the important role of the National Defence Academy of Georgia in advancing contemporary educational processes, enhancing international cooperation, and introducing innovative approaches to military education.
