An award ceremony for the personnel of the Academy
An award ceremony for personnel of the Academy was held at the National Defence Academy's parade ground.
By order of the Commander of the Defence Forces of Georgian two military serviceman was promoted to the rank of "Lieutenant Colonel."
Additionally, by order of the Minister of Defence of Georgia, two professors from the Academy received the departmental medal "Giorgi Chkondideli-Mtsignobartukhutsesi" in recognition of their significant contributions to the development of the military education system.
For their exemplary discipline, academic performance, and physical training over the past month, four Junkers and two trainees were presented with personal gifts from the Rector of the National Defence Academy. Furthermore, two military servicemen and two civilians were awarded a "Certificate of Honour" for their conscientious and high-quality performance of assigned duties.
At the end of the event, the distinguished Junkers raised the national flag.
