Innovative pilot training program
At the National Defence Academy, an innovative pilot training program was introduced at the initiative of the Commander of the Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze. Developed by the Academy’s Training Support and Development Center, this program employs a unique methodology and sets a new precedent by having officers directly demonstrate the entire process of issuing and executing a platoon's combat order to the Junkers.
The training aims to give the Junkers a deeper and more practical understanding of how combat orders are issued and executed. This approach will significantly enhance their professional development and help cultivate the operational thinking of future officers.
