Ethnic Minorities at NDA

Ethnic minority recruits and high school students from Kvemo Kartli and Samcxe-Javakheti visited NDA in the framework of the project that helps to promote the strengthening and improvement of the patriotic spirit among the ethnic minority recruits and high school students. The project is organized with the cooperation between Youth Union of Public Movement Multinational Georgia and LEPL “Children and Youth Development Foundation”.

The guests were hosted by the Acting Commandant of NDA, Lieutenant-Colonel Vasil Kopeikini.

During the meeting 3rd year Junker Archil Shavdatuashvili introduced the history of Georgian Military Institutes to the guest. Commander of Training Battalion, Senior Lieutenant Lasha Odilavadze talked about the Academy mission, admission requirements, Bachelor programs, studying process and grading system. He also discussed the Junkers’ everyday routine, exchange programs, listeners’ activities and future plans.

At the end of the meeting, the guests asked questions to the Lieutenant-Colonel Vasil Kopeikini and Senior Lieutenant Lasha Odilavadze regarding the ethnic minorities at NDA, the contract, acceptance of civilian and age restrictions.

After the meeting, the guests viewed the Academy infrastructure.
