Jill Chambers at the National Defence Academy
Today the founder of This Able Vet LLC, Mrs. Jill Chambers and the Head of Rehabilitation Control and Monitoring Division of Medical Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Georgia, Lieutenant-Colonel Mamuka Mikabadze visited NDA.
In the framework of the visit, the guests met with the wounded military personnel and NDA Bachelor School Junkers.
Lieutenant-Colonel Mamuka Mikabadze discussed the relationship between Georgian and USA regarding the wounded warrior’s rehabilitation programme.
Mrs. Jill Chambers delivered the lecture to the wounded military personnel and Junkers regarding the post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She talked about the “invisible wounds” many military personnel receive during the service. Jill Chambers discussed the strategies and non-pharmaceutics alternatives that are currently used to tackle the post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
