Training “Men Talk”
In the framework of 16 Days of Activism Against Women Violence, by the support of Women’s Information Centre, today, was held the training on Gender Equality Principles and “Men Talk” for the NDA high rank male personnel, both military and civilian.
The trainers discussed the Gender Equality Principles and United Nations Security Council Resolution №1325. The participants also familiarized themselves with the activities carried out by the Ministry of Defence and the National Defence Academy in the framework of 2012-2015 National Action Plan, responsibilities and Action Plan of the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW).
During the training, the Gender Stereotypes, Discrimination and Violence were also discussed.
