Burial of Georgian Cadet

Georgian Cadet, Private Besarion Gorjoladze who died in the New Jersey State as a result of a car accident was buried in the village Kvemo Chala, Kaspi region by military honor today.

Defence Minister of Georgia Mindia Janelidze attended the funeral ceremony and once more expressed his deepest condolences over the death of the Georgian cadet to his family members. Deputy Ministers of Defence, Chief of General Staff of GAF, Major General Vakhtang Kapanadze and high-ranking officers as well as the leadership and Junkers of Davit Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy attended the burial ceremony. The U.S. Coast Guard Academy delegation, led by Rear Admiral David R. Callahan, the Georgian and American friends of the Georgian students also arrived in Kaspi region.

The funeral ceremony of Private Besarion Gorjoladze began from Samtavisi Cathedral. He was buried in the village Kvemo Chala with military honor. The Honor Guard paid a tribute to the memory of Georgian cadet by firing a salvo. Military orchestra performed the national anthem of Georgia as well.
