Cadets of the United States Military Academy West Point have accomplished the language course at the Davit Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia. The certificates were granted to the US cadets by Rector of the National Defence Academy David Nardaia.
6 cadets and one instructor had been invited to the Georgian military educational institution in the framework of exchange program. During three weeks they had been learning the Russian grammar and literature at the Academy. The US cadets together with the students of the baccalaureate of NDA took part in military exercises, physical preparation programs and other sports events.
Special cultural-educational events were arranged for the cadets of West Point. They visited the museums and sighseeings in Gori, Kutaisi and Batumi and got acquainted with the history of Georgia.
In the framework of cooperation between the National Defence Academy of Georgia and the United States Military Academy West Point, 6 best Georgian students will be sent to the United States of America, where they will undergo the field trainings.
