Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent academic qualification.
To be admitted to the Master's programme, applicants must:
Pass the Unified Master's Exams;
Pass the Academy's entrance exam in the relevant field of study;
Pass the English language exam organized by the Academy at STANAG 6001 Level 2/2/2/2, or submit a certificate confirming English language proficiency at CEFR B2 or higher (or an equivalent TOEFL, IELTS, ECL, or another internationally recognized English language qualification), or submit a diploma/certificate confirming successful completion of an English-language higher education programme or a military career course (e.g. CCC);
Pass the Academy's internal interview. The interview topics will be published on the Academy's website at least two weeks before the examination date;
Applicants eligible for admission without taking the Master's entrance examinations shall be enrolled in accordance with the applicable legislation.
The following categories of applicants are eligible for admission to the Master's programmes:
Military personnel, civilian personnel, and persons holding special state ranks within the system of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia;
Serving employees of other state institutions;
Civilian citizens of Georgia.
Master's Programme in Defence Analysis

Application Period
Applications will be accepted from 31 August to 11 September 2026, from 09:00 to 17:00, except on 4 and 15 September, when applications will be accepted from 09:00 to 15:00, at the Ministry of Defence Security Checkpoint. (Address: 117A Davit Uznadze Street, Tbilisi.)
The entrance examination for the Master's Programme in Defence Analysis will be held on 21 September 2026. (Address: 117A Davit Uznadze Street, Tbilisi.)
Candidates admitted to the course must report to the designated location on September 21, 2026, and register at 09:00; the exam will begin at 10:00.
The English language entrance examination will be held on 16 September 2026. (Address: National Defence Academy, 3rd Kilometre, Tskhinvali Highway, Gori.)
Candidates must report to the National Defense Academy on September 16, 2026, and register at 10:00; the exam will begin at 11:00. (Address: National Defence Academy, 3rd Kilometre, Tskhinvali Highway, Gori.)
