In the framework of National Action Plan, the training on “Gender Equality Principles and United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325” was implemented in both Bachelor and Career Schools’ Curriculum.

National Defence Academy hosted the Workshop on “Effective Teaching”. The workshop was organized by the Quality Assurance Service of NDA. The purpose of the seminar is to train military instructors and implement effective teaching methods.

Closing ceremony of International Week 2016 was held at Davit Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy. Defence Minister of Georgia Tinatin Khidasheli, acting as Rector of ‪‎NDA‬, LTC Vasil Kopeikin, Commander of ‪Military‬ Training and Education, Colonel Malkhaz Makaradze, Commander of National Guard, Brigadier General Levan Gamkrelidze and other officials of General Staff attended the event.

The four Officers from the Gendarmerie General Command of Republic of Turkey underwent 6 months Georgian Language Training Course at the National Defence Academy.

In the framework of the Action Plan collaborated between the National Defence Academy and NATO Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP) two day training was held for the NDA personnel in Human Resource Management, Informational Technology, Leadership and Resource Management and Finance.
