The National Defence Academy hosted the eighth International Cadet Week, which was inaugurated by the Rector of the Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, with a welcoming speech. The event brought together 62 participants from 19 different Georgian and foreign educational institutions across 12 countries to visit the Academy.

The 22nd annual competition on the Law of Armed Conflicts was recently held in Sanremo, Italy. The event was organized by the International Institute of Humanitarian Law and attended by representatives of the National Defence Academy, including Defence and Security Program Professor Levan Gegeshidze, as well as the Junkers Zurab Mamanishvili, Irakli Grigoriadi, and Zurab Mamulashvili.

An award ceremony was held at the LEPL David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia to honor the parents of outstanding Junkers from the autumn semester.

In April 2024, a delegation from the National Defence Academy, led by Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, the Rector of the Academy, visited the National Defence College in Rakovsky, Bulgaria.

Two cadets from the US Military Academy - West Point recently visited the National Defence Academy of Georgia as part of an exchange program. The visit included a variety of military, academic, sports, and cultural activities, in which both the West Point cadets and the Junkers of the Academy participated.
