A solemn event was held for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia and the LEPL- Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. Candidates represented by various educational institutions and scientific centers of Georgia attended the event.

As part of the internship program, three cadets from Saint-Cyr Military School of France visited the National Defence Academy between January 18 and February 9, 2024.

On February 8 of this year, the liaison officer of the NATO Liaison Office, Colonel Rushen Abidinoglu, paid an introductory visit to the National Defence Academy.

Today, the National Defence Academy held an opening ceremony for the monument of the Holy King Davit Aghmashenebeli, which was symbolically related to the day of commemoration of Davit Aghmashenebeli. This event marks another significant milestone in the history of the modern Academy.

The Deputy Rector of the LEPL – David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia, David Razmadze, the head of the Distance Learning Center, LTC Giorgi Skhirtladze, the head of the Junior Officer Training School LTC Lasha Klimiashvili, and Junker Training Battalion Commander LTC Manuchar Dvalishvili visited Warsaw (Republic of Poland) to participate in the training seminar organized by the NATO DEEP E-Academy from January 26 to February 1, 2024.
