The graduates of the Basic Combat Training (BCT) course of the Junior Officer Training School of the National Defense Academy took the military oath.

On May 18 of this year, outdoor military-historical lectures were held in Samtskhe-Javakheti. The following topics were discussed at the outdoor lectures: geopolitics and strategy of ancient and medieval Georgia, history and typology of fortification, ways of capturing and defending fortresses, and the overall history of the southern regions.

A scientific-practical conference - Psychology and Modernity was held at the National Defence Academy.

The Defense Attaché of the Kingdom of Denmark, Colonel Jens Erik Hjort and his accompanying people visited the National Defence Academy of Georgia on 18 May. The delegation of the Kingdom of Denmark was hosted by the NDA leadership. It should be noted that the defense attaché of the kingdom of Denmark visited the NDA for the first time. The delegation had also held meetings at J-5 Strategic Planning Department, National Guard of Georgia and Training and Military Education Command.

On May 9-13 of this year, the "52nd Commandant's Conference" planned by the joint organization of the NATO Defense College and the Baltic Defense College was held in Estonia, Tallinn. The Rector of the National Defence Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, and the head of the baccalaureate, Colonel Zurab Zerekidze attended the conference.
