Today was the conclusion of the two day training for Gender Advisors, which is the third stage of their training. The military and civilian personnel working at the Defence sector are selected as Gender Advisors.

The two-day workshop for the advisors on gender issues in the field of defence was opened at the Davit Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy. First Deputy Minister of Defence Gocha Ratiani unveiled the seminar and focused attention on its significance. 

At the firing ground of IV Mechanized Brigade the Junkers of Davit Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia competed in shooting from fire-arms. Chief of the General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces Major-General Vakhtang Kapanadze also participated in the tournament.

Today was the conclusion of the International Week at Davit Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia. First Deputy Defence Minister Gocha Ratiani, Chief of General Staff of the GAF, Major General Vakhtang Kapanadze and his deputy, Brigade General Vladimer Chachibaia attended the closing ceremony. They addressed to the Georgian Junkers and the students of foreign military educational institutions and awarded them with the relevant certificates.

In the framework of the official visit in Georgia, today, the representatives of the United States National War College visited National Defence Academy.
