Republican-Scientific Conference at the Academy

Today, at Davit Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia, a republican-scientific conference opened, dedicated to the 800th anniversary of King Tamar’s death. It’s a first time at the Academy hosting the conference. Professors, teachers from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi state University, Georgian Technical University and professors and students from NDA, also representatives from the National Centre of Manuscripts and the servicemen from GAF attended the conference.

Art work Exhibition of Artist Andro Kandelaki at NDA

Davit Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy hosted the art work exhibition of Andro Kandelaki. The exhibition was dedicated to the 68thanniversary of victory over Fascism in World War II. The Paintings and caricatures of artist Andro Kandelaki are unique, because they were created directly on the battlefield, describing the chronology of the World War.

The German Military Attaché at the Academy

Today the German military attaché, Lieutenant - Colonel Michael Fricke visited to the Davit Agmashenebeli National Defense Academy of Georgia. The German visitor was hosted by the rector of the academy, Mr. Zurab Agladze. At the meeting the diplomat discussed the military education system of the German armed forces.

The Graduation of Infantry Officers Training Course

On the 1st May the Infantry Officers Training Course was successfully completed. The course was lasted for 11 months. Sergeants and corporals from the different units of GAF attended the course. Among 84 military servicemen enlisted in the course, only 48 from them finished the course successfully.
