On the 1st May the Infantry Officers Training Course was successfully completed. The course was lasted for 11 months. Sergeants and corporals from the different units of GAF attended the course. Among 84 military servicemen enlisted in the course, only 48 from them finished the course successfully.

COL Vladimer Chachibaia - Deputy Chief of Joint Staff of GAF congratulated the personnel at Davit Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia on Georgian Army 22nd jubilee. At the ceremony second year students showed a presentation about “Foundation and Development of Georgian Armed Forces”.

Academy Rector Zurab Agladze and Commandant LTC Nikoloz Agladze met the media representatives today.  The purpose of the meeting was to discuss entrance exams, terms and conditions for Bachelors programs.  Academy Rector Zurab Agladze delivered a presentation to the journalists over NDA current educational programs. He spoke about the conditions in which the students will have to study in the future.

Major General Frank D. Turner, Commanding General of the United States Army Security Assistance Command has visited National Defence Academy today. Major General Frank Turner, together with delegation members, met Academy Rector Zurab Agladze and Commandant LTC Nikoloz Agladze. The Georgian side delivered presentation on the Institution structure and curriculum. Academy Rector informed the guests about the tuition process and Bachelors programs. The reforms implemented in the National Defence Academy and future plans were also discussed at the meeting.
