Today, within the framework of the charity action, the students of National Defense Academy have donated blood for children suffer from leukemia. The Rector of NDA – Zurab Agladze, the Commandant – LTC Nikoloz Agladze, the Vise-Rector – Erekle Chigogidze and Major Levan Gugenishvili also participated in the action. The Blood Bank brigades of “Iashvili Clinic” have worked in NDA all day long.

Today, at Davit Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia there was training about “Gender Equality and United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325”. The representatives from the NGO “Women`s Information Center” delivered information to the academy students about gender equality and stereotypes, also about United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 and their course of action. 

Dr. Andrew Murrison Minister for International Security Strategy of UK pays an official visit to Georgia. Today, Dr. Andrew Murrison visited Davit Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy. Deputy Minister of Defence Tamar Karosanidze and NDA Rector Zurab Agladze received a British official and delivered  presentation on the educational process in NDA, Bachelor and Master programs and future plans.

Sergeant Major of the United States European Command Roy M. Maddocks pays two-day visit to Georgia. Sergeant Major of GAF Aluda Kopaliani is hosting a guest from America. Today, Sergeant Major of the United States European Command visited National Defence Academy. The delegation members had a meeting with the NDA Rector Zurab Agladze.

In the format of the Union-Friend of the Army the first meeting was held at the National Defence Academy. Minister of Defence and his Deputy Tamar Karosanidze hosted the Director of National Museum of Georgia Davit Lortkipanidze. Director of the Museum delivered a lecture to the junkers on the theme “Georgia-the country of the first Europeans”.
