Abdul Ali Shamsi, Principal Security Advisor to Helmand Provincial Governor is paying an official visit to Georgia.  The Afghan official has come to the Davit Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy and met with military servants and Academy attendees. Abdul Ali Shamsi extended his gratitude to the Georgian military for their contribution to the security of the region. He stressed the importance of Georgia’s participation in the ISAF mission and briefed about the situation in Helmand.

French cadets have passed a period of probation at the National Defence Academy. Four week-long internship course covered lessons both in theory and practice. The foreign cadets attended lectures together with Georgian students and took part in field trainings. Christopher Alehause and  Amadee de Saint-Pern became familiar with specifics of various GAF`s subunits activities.

Attendees of the National Defence Academy congratulated the old people inhabiting the Charity House “Catharsis” on the coming New Year and Christmas holidays. The Academy students visited all the female elders personally and presented them with New Year sweets.
