The current challenges facing the Georgian Governmental agencies, including the Georgian Defense Forces, place on the agenda the training of strategic management professionals who will have deep systemic knowledge and relevant skills, specializing in the management of national resources and will be able to operate in unforeseen and changing environments as well as resolve complex issues.

 

The objective of the MA Program in State Resource Management is to prepare qualified military and civilian leaders of strategic level in the field of national security, who will have multidisciplinary, systematic and in-depth knowledge of the field in national and international context and will be able to:

  • develop both strategic management and policy at all levels of public administration (national, municipal, sectoral,

organizational);

  • implement governance processes continuously and make effective/efficient decisions independently;
  • develop new, innovative, universal democratic value system-compliant solutions, which would enable them to

solve public problems and establish appropriate communication with political decision-makers regarding them;

  • manage public sector institutions based on national and international scientific research with a strategic

systematic approach;

  • organize planning, programming, budgeting and execution processes in public sector;
  • guide the autonomous search of information and the independent management of learning process and convey the results of his/her own research to the academic and professional community on national and international scale.
