An event dedicated to the graduation ceremony of the Junior Reserve Officer Voluntary Military Training Program was held at the David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia.

The Commander of the David Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, together with the command staff, personnel, and Junkers, paid tribute to the memory of the Georgian servicemen who heroically fell near the village of Shindisi on August 11, 2008.

Military Medicine Day was celebrated at the David Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia.

The leadership, personnel, Junkers, and trainees of the David Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia paid tribute to the memory of the heroes who fell in the Russo Georgian War and laid a wreath at the Heroes  Memorial located on the Academy grounds.

A Memorandum of Understanding  has been signed between the David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia and the Emergency Management Service of Georgia. The document was signed by the Commander of the National Defence Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, and the Head of the Emergency Management Service, Major General of Civil Security Teimuraz Mghebrishvili.
