70 years passed after the victory over fascism. President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Defence Minister Tinatin Khidasheli and Chief of General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces, Major General Vakhtang Kapanadze congratulated the veterans of the World War II on the Victory Day.

Today, the representatives of the Royal Norwegian Air Force Academy Lieutenant-Colonel Dag Henriksen and Associate Professor Karl Erik Haug visited NDA. The Norwegian guest held an introductory meeting with the NDA representatives.  

Today was the held the screen of the documentary “Georgian Legionnaire – Dimitri Amilakhvari” directed by Giorgi Toradze. NDA Bachelor School first and second year Junkers attended the screening.

“Effective Communication Skills Training” is held for the military and civilian personnel of the National Defence Academy. Three day training was opened by the Deputy Rector of NDA, Mr. Erekle Chigogidze.

In the framework of the 2015 European Week in Georgia, the former president of the Republic of Latvia, Mr. Vladis Zatlers visited National Defence Academy. The week is organized by the Information Center on NATO and EU.
