NDA Acting Commandant Lieutenant-Colonel Vasil Kopeikini visited Algeti Training Base and familiarized with the development of the Military Training Course. Above mentioned course started on 17th of March, 2014 and will end on 18th of July.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Swiss Confederation to Georgia Guenther Baechler visited NDA. NDA Rector Zurab Agladze hosted the Ambassador. In the framework of the visit, Mr. Baechler delivered the lecture to Bachelor School Junkers on the peace topic. 

Today was the conclusion of visit of the United State Air Force Academy Representatives to the National Defence Academy. In the framework of the visit, the guests visited to NDA, LEPL – State Military Science-Technical Centre “DELTA” and LEPL – Cadets’ Military Lyceum.

In the framework of the two days visit in Georgia, Commander of the United States Marine Corps Forces in Europe visited NDA. Chief of General Staff of GAF, Major-General Vakhtang Kapanadze and NDA Rector Zurab Agladze hosted Lieutenant General Richard Tryon.

The military servicemen getting ready for the deployment to Afghanistan were given a special training for the first time on such topics as “Resolutions on Women, Peace and Security” and “Building Integrity”. The UN resolutions place a focus on the protection of women`s rights, increasing women`s representation in security sector and on the active participation of women in conflict resolution process.
