Minister of Defence of Georgia Irakli Alasania has awarded successful military servicemen of Command and General Staff School of National Defence Academy. First Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff of GAF Brigadier-General Vakhtang Kapanadze delivered a speech to the 28 graduates of officers’ higher military career institution. Deputy Director of Plans, Policy and Strategy of the United States European Command, Rear Admiral Mark Montgomery, Chief of the Joint Staff of GAF Brigadier General Giorgi Kalandadze and Rector of the National Defence Academy Giorgi Kvelidze awarded the military servicemen. Diplomatic Corps accredited to Georgia also attended the solemn ceremony.

60 military servicemen of Georgian Armed Forces successfully underwent maneuver, artillery, military surveillance and personnel management captain career courses. The awarding ceremony has been held at the Davit Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy today.

Today, Urmas Reinsalu has arrived at the National Defence Academy. Rector Goga Kveladze hosted Estonian delegation. He showed the visitors Academy infrastructure and got them familiar with educational process. Mr. Reinsalu met with students and delivered a lecture on “Estonian Experience with NATO: From partnership to membership”. The meeting went on in an interactive format.

A solemn ceremony to mark the beginning of a new academic year has been held at Davit Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy today. Defence Minister Dimitri Shashkini personally congratulated the freshmen and sophomores on the beginning of a new academic year. Defence Minister got acquainted to the educational process of National Defence Academy. 

Today, the recently enrolled students of Davit Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy have visited the institution. Future freshmen together with the Academy students took a view of the infrastructure, library, sport complex, barracks, recreation center, swimming complex and got familiar with educational and housing conditions.
