The military servicemen getting ready for the deployment to Afghanistan were given a special training for the first time on such topics as “Resolutions on Women, Peace and Security” and “Building Integrity”. The UN resolutions place a focus on the protection of women`s rights, increasing women`s representation in security sector and on the active participation of women in conflict resolution process.

The informational meeting regarding the 2014-2015 academic years was held for the university entrants at the Cognitive-Educational Center of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia.

Japan Military Attaché, Colonel Hirofumi Akata visited NDA. In the framework of the visit, the guest met with the NDA Deputy Rector, Mr. Erekle Chigogidze and the Commander of Training Battalion, Senior Lieutenant Lasha Odilavadze.

Davit Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia launched reception of applications. The pupils of different public schools visited NDA. “Open Day” was held for those applicants who expressed desire to continue studying at the NDA.
