International Relations and Diplomacy

Admission

Applicants to the program must have at least a bachelor's degree or an equivalent academic qualification. To enroll in the master's program, the following requirements must be met:

- The applicant must successfully pass the general master's exam.

- An internal exam in the chosen specialty is required.

- The candidate must either pass the STANAG 2/2/2/2 English language test organized by the Academy or present a valid certificate demonstrating an appropriate level of English proficiency (at least CEF B2). This can include equivalent levels from other recognized tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, ECL, or documentation showing completion of an English-language higher education program or a Captains Career Course (CCC).

- Candidates are also required to pass an internal exam, which will take the form of an interview. The topics for the entrance exam will be posted on the Academy's website two weeks  before the exam date.

- Candidates who do not pass the master's exams may still be enrolled in the program in accordance with existing laws and regulations.

1. 30 places - military personnel of the Georgian Defense System;

2. 15 places - civilian and special rank personnel within the system of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia;

3. 5 places - employees of state agencies of Georgia;

4. 10 places - civilians with Georgian citizenship;

Candidates' documents will be accepted from September 8 to September 18, 2025, inclusive, from 09:00 to 17:00, at the Ministry of Defense checkpoint (address: Tbilisi, D. Uznadze 117a).

The entrance exam for the Master's programs in International Relations and Diplomacy will be held on September 17 and 18, 2025. (Address: - Tbilisi, D. Uznadze 117a).

a) Candidates must appear at the Master's Office on September 17, 18, 2025 and register at 09:00, and the exam will start at 10:00. (Address - Tbilisi, D.Uznadze 117 a).

The English language entrance exam will be held on September 18, 2025. (Address: - Gori, Tskhinvali Highway 3rd kilometer)

b) Candidates must report to the National Defence Academy on September 18, 2025 and register at 10:00, and the exam will start at 11:00. (Address: - Gori, Tskhinvali Highway 3rd kilometer)

List of Required Documents:

1. Application form (to be completed upon submission of documents).

2. Autobiography (to be completed upon submission of documents).

3. Copy of identity card.

4. Copy of biometric passport (for citizens of Georgia; if not available, it can be submitted later).

5. Copy of Bachelor's diploma and diploma supplement, or a notarized original translation into Georgian of a document certifying education received at a foreign educational institution. If a diploma or equivalent document is not available, a certificate of qualification is required.

6. Document confirming B2 level proficiency in the English language (certificate/diploma; both original and copy).

7. Copies of any received certificates (if applicable).

8. Color photo 3×4 - 6 pieces

9. Certificate from the workplace (for candidates who do not have an official letter to the Academy's Master's program from state institutions).

10. Printed results from the National Assessment and Examination Center website [http://www.naec.ge](http://www.naec.ge) for grades obtained in the common Master's exams.

11. One CD containing an electronic version of the photograph.

12. Cardboard folder.
