As part of the occupation week the leaders, staff members, and Junkers of Davit Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia honored the memory of the heroes who lost their lives fighting against Soviet occupation in 1921. Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, the Rector of the National Defence Academy, accompanied by military personnel, laid a wreath at the heroes' memorial at the Defence Academy. 

Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, the Rector of the National Defence Academy, paid a working visit to the College of the Norwegian Defence University with some other staff members of the Academy from February 12th to 16th, 2024. The Academy has a close cooperation with the College, which includes exchange programs and the development of distance learning.

A solemn event was held for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia and the LEPL- Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. Candidates represented by various educational institutions and scientific centers of Georgia attended the event.

As part of the internship program, three cadets from Saint-Cyr Military School of France visited the National Defence Academy between January 18 and February 9, 2024.

On February 8 of this year, the liaison officer of the NATO Liaison Office, Colonel Rushen Abidinoglu, paid an introductory visit to the National Defence Academy.
