Visit of the Saint-Cyr Military Academy Cadets

Within the framework of the bilateral cooperation plan signed between the defence agencies of Georgia and France, from January 16 to February 10 of this year, the National Defence Academy hosts four cadets of the Saint-Cyr Military School. The purpose of the visit is to improve the foreign language skills of the French cadets. At the introductory meeting, the First Deputy Rector of the Academy, Colonel Levan Kavtaradze spoke about the National Defence Academy. Within the framework of the visit, various academic, sports and cultural events are planned for the cadets. They visit the Historical-Ethnographic Museum of Gori, Gorijvari Church and the Uplistsikhe Museum-Reserve.

At the National Defence Academy, intensive foreign language training is provided for Junkers. The training is performed by the BA language training department. The Junkers have the opportunity to study French and German in addition to the English language provided by the educational programs.

In the innovative center of the National Defence Academy, practical training for first-year Jukers has started, within which they will have the opportunity to create and assemble various electronic circuits with their own hands, to learn the technical details and operating principles of drones (unmanned aerial vehicles). They will be able to assemble and program the drone themselves.
