93 graduates of the Basic Combat Training of the Junker Training Battalion of the David Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia took the military oath. The ceremony was held in a historical place, on the territory of the Khertvisi fortress.

The National Defence Academy continues to organize introductory visits for the students of the Junior Officer Training School.

Within the framework of a lecture/presentation at the National Defence Academy, the 4th-year Junkers of the Junker training battalion and the students of the candidate course of the Junior Officer Training School continue to get acquainted with the Georgian Defence Forces and its structural units.

On October 17-21 of this year, the rector of the National Defence Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, attended the ceremony dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Academy of the General Staff of the Federal Republic of Germany.

An international scientific-practical conference was held at the National Defence Academy on October 25, the main topic of which was "NATO's priorities and the Caucasus - status quo and changes".
