In the period from April 14 to April 24, 2023, third-year Junkers of the National Defence Academy, Shota Simonishvili and Zurab Gogiashvili, were in the West Point Military Academy in the United States of America to participate in the "Foreign Academy Exchange Program".

The seventh international cadet week was held at the National Defence Academy, which was opened by the Rector of the Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, with a welcome speech.

In the National Defence Academy, introductory meetings continue for the 4-year Junkers of the Junker Training Battalion and students of the Candidate Course of the Junior Officer Training School.

During the period of April 4-6 of this year, the delegation of the National Defence Academy, under the leadership of Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, was on an introductory visit to the Italian Center for Defense Higher Studies (CASD). During the mentioned visit, the delegation of the Academy was accompanied by the Defence Attaché in the Kingdom of Spain and the Republic of Italy, Colonel Giorgi Babunashvili. The Center for Defense Higher Studies in Italy includes the following structural units: the Italian Defense Higher Studies Institute, the Joint Services Staff College, Defense Research and Analysis Institute, and Joint Logistics Education Centre.

On March 19-25 of this year, the 21st Competition on the Law of Armed Conflicts was held in Sanremo, Italy, organized by the International Institute of Humanitarian Law. Representatives of the Academy attended the competition: Associate Professor of Defence and Security Program Kakha Putkaradze; Junkers - Mate Agulashvili, Salome Davituliani, and Natalie Gvalia.
