Within the framework of a lecture/presentation at the National Defence Academy, the Junkers of the 4th year of the Junker Training Battalion and the students of the Candidate Course of the Junior Officer Training School continue to get acquainted with the Defence Forces of Georgia and its structural units.

On June 5, the Junkers of the National Defence Academy took part in a large-scale charity sports event "Run for Ukraine" organized by the International Fund for Sports, Tourism and Youth in Telavi, near Lake Lopota.

A Critical Thinking Workshop for military servicemen was organized by the NATO Defense Education Enhancement Program at the National Defense Academy.  The event was chaired by Mr. Robert Antis, DEEP Georgia Project Coordinator, and Ms. Ilaria Desantis.

On International Child Protection Day, the Ministry of Defence hosted the children of the fallen heroes in the battles for the territorial integrity of Georgia, during international missions and the performance of official duties, at the National Defense Academy in Gori. The Defence Minister of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze and the Commander of the Defence Forces Major General Giorgi Matiashvili congratulated the children of the fallen heroes on June 1st and attended the sports and entertainment events held in connection with the mentioned day.

On October 25, 2022, the National Defense Academy will host the International Scientific-Practical Conference "NATO Priorities and the Caucasus - Status and Changes".
