Today, events dedicated to the memory of the Junkers who died in February 1921 were held at the National Defence Academy.

Four French Cadets of Special Military School of Saint-Cyr finished their internship at National Defence Academy of Georgia. The cadets were visiting the NDA during January 24 and February 18 in frames of bilateral cooperation plan between the Ministries of Defense of Georgia and France.

Today, at the National Defence Academy, an event dedicated to the Day of St. King David Aghmashenebeli was held at the parade ground.

National Defence Academy and “KAMKA Network” (the organization which brings together professionals of various fields, Donald Rumsfeld grant-aided students from South Caucasus and Central Asian Countries, Afghanistan and Mongolia) drew up a memorandum of cooperation in frames of which NDA Junkers will have an opportunity to gain Donald Rumsfeld Scholarship besides the NDA internal scholarship.  

The Academy celebrated the New Year’s Eve. The New Year’s Eve party was opened with an internal championship of the Academy in the intellectual game “What? Where? When?” During the day, the Rector of the Academy, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze hosted the wounded military servicemen and handed over New Year presents. New Year gifts were also given to the personnel of the household service and maintenance service group.
