The fourth-year Junkers of the National Defence Academy Veriko Tordia and Beka Eliava participated in the International Week organized by the Nicolae Balcescu Land Forces Academy and conducted from April 4 to April 8 of current year, where they participated in various cultural events and conferences. It should be noted that NDA Junkers took the first places, namely: Junker Beka Eliava - in international relations, and Veriko Tordia - in economics and management.

The Junkers of the National Defence Academy Mariam Elikashvili and Otar Jangavadze took part in the military leadership course held in Sibiu, Romania from March 28 to April 7 this year.

The Junkers of the Junker Training Battalion of the Academy – Veriko Tordia, Salome Davituliani, Tornike Gvarmiani together with Captain Revaz Toronjadze, Head of the International Relations and Planning Division of the G-5 Service took part in the "20th Competition of the Law of Armed Conflict" organized by the International Institute of Humanitarian Law in Sanremo, Italy on March 21-25.

The 6th Cadets’ International Week has finished at the National Defence Academy of Georgia. This year the event hosted six foreign military academies and three national educational institutions.

Deputy Rector, Colonel David Razmadze and Deputy Rector-Chief of Staff, Colonel Imeda Gvritishvili laid flowers at the Heroes' Memorial at the National Defence Academy and commemorated April 9 as a symbol of freedom.
