On May 14, 2021, a student conference "Russia's Hybrid War Strategy and Security Challenges in the Caucasus" was held at the National Defense Academy. The conference was held through online format.

Today, events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Defense Forces of Georgia were held at the National Defense Academy.

In April 16, 2021, National Defence academy of Georgia hosted Ambassador of Federal Republic of Germany to Georgia, Mr. Hubert Knirsch and Defence Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Lars Ukerwitz.

National Defence Academy hosted NATO Military Liaison Officer to Georgia, Colonel Gintaras Bagdonas on 13th of April, 2021. In frames of the visit Colonel held a meeting with the rector of the National Defence Academy of Georgia, Brigadier General Mamia Balakhadze, herewith, he was introduced to ongoing military training and education process at the academy and gained information on existing NATO support programs and future plans.

In April 5-9, 2021, five Junkers of National Defence Academy of Georgia – Nikoloz Shautidze, Luka Bogveradze, Dachi Pichkhnarashvili, Nikoloz Gvalia and Paata Chinchaladze successfully participated in International Symposium – “Implications of Covid-19 Pandemic on National Security” organized by the University of North Georgia.
